AN ARCHIVE OF love stories

Being invited into the the lives of extraordinary people is an incredible privilege. The stories I adorn through my imagery capture the true essence of the human spirit and the art of being in love.

Swoon Floral Design Studio Bio and Branding Session

Hi Friends!

I was thrilled when Kim of Swoon Floral Design  hired me to photograph her team, as she has recently expanded her services.  Kim and Katie are an ABSOLUTE delight to work with, and I could not have been more excited to have been a part of this project!  Kim has a thriving wedding floral business in Portland, Oregon and has now expanded her offerings to EVENT DESIGN and COORDINATION.

Kim’s mood board for this session was subtle, with muted earth tones.  I could not have LOVED this minimalistic aesthetic more. We incorporated some new BIO Headshots as well of these two incredible ladies!

From Kim:

“I’m a Portland native and the owner and designer of Swoon Floral Design. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. From a young age I was always looking for something to design, repurpose, and create.  With a background in interior design and horticulture, Swoon allows me to combine my passion for flowers, design and fabulous spaces by creating one of a kind arrangements and events all over the Northwest and beyond! My ultimate goal and joy is to serve my clients so they can fully enjoy their engagement.

Over the past 7 years Swoon has been featured in some of the industries top publications including Oregon Bride Magazine, Pacific Northwest Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Magnolia Rouge, and Wedding Sparrow. We have also been nominated as one of Portland’s Top 3 Florists since 2013, winning “Portland’s Best Florist” in 2017.

When not working with my clients creating beautiful events, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, on my spin bike, perusing home decor, and exploring the Portland “foodie” scene.”

I have had the privilege of photographing Kim’s beautiful floral work at several weddings and BRIDES, I could not recommend her more! Photographing entrepreneurs in their artistic element is my ABSOLUTE favorite, and truly gives me life!
