I love the perfectly imperfect details of Alcina’s hair and dress blowing in the wind during this Oregon coast film engagement session.  These two braved the cold and we had an absolute blast.  The connection between them is so evident and so beautiful to witness and document.

Alcina and Mark will be getting married next June at the beautiful Belle Fiore Winery and I can’t wait to work with them again!

How they met:
“Mark and I met over 3 years ago working at Bank of America. When he started we were assigned to work on the same team. For the first several months we knew each other we were barely even friends. One day we both attended a work event together and hit it off at least in a friendship way and started spending more time together. We realized we were interested in more than friendship together. The only thing is at that time I was moving to Arizona in a couple of months. We dated until I left unsure of what we would do when I left, but we decided to try to make it work long distance. The distance truly only made us stronger and due to some family health issues with Marks mom, I moved back to Portland about 6 months later. We have now been together over 2.5 years, and we got engaged over Christmas.”

This film Oregon engagement session was shot with the Pentax645 NII with film stock Kodak Portra 400 and Portra 800.
