Welcome to the fresh new face of Amanda K. Photography!

I am thrilled beyond measure to finally share my new branding and website with you!  Finally!

I have always been a “less is more” kind of girl.  It was important that my new look not only reflect simplistic and timeless beauty, but for the life and love of the extraordinary people I have the honor of photographing be the highlight. “It’s not about me” has been my message throughout this past 8 year photography journey, and I want to continue that.

The incredibly talented, (and SWEET to boot), Chelsea Petaja of Oh My Deer hand painted my new logo and also scripted all the calligraphy! She was SO wonderful to work with and I could not be happier.

This new site was designed and built by the incredibly talented Caitlyn Jefferey! Caitlyn of The Photographer’s Sidekick has been my assistant for about a year now and to be honest, I don’t know how I ever survived without her!  Caitlyn understood  how I had two very unsatisfactory experiences with website designers, and she offered to use her knowledge and skills to create something perfect for me. I am so thankful for her professionalism, attention to detail, and for making my vision come to life.

Moving on to the incredible couple that is featured today!!  Angela and Alexander flew all the way from NYC to meet me in LA a couple of weeks back!  Angela is a talented  fashion designer and she had a clear vision of what she wanted.  She designed and made both dresses for this Ralph Lauren inspired shoot. (Part 2 will be featured on MONDAY!)  Angela and Alexander exude romance and sophistication, and my approach was editorial with a little “sexy” edge.  I am VERY anxious to document their NYC wedding next month…she MADE her own wedding dress and all of the bridesmaids gowns as well.  Can you imagine planning a wedding AND making and designing ALL the gowns??

She’s a rockstar.
