AN ARCHIVE OF love stories
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” – unknown
2016 has come to a close and we have ushered in 2017..unbelievable! This past year was once again filled to the brim with beautiful love stories and new friendships forged. This job truly fuels me. Being surrounded by love and celebration on a weekly basis has truly seeped into my bones. I could not be more grateful to the incredible couples that chose me to be a part of this chapter in their journey together.
I also had the great privilege of spending some one-on-one time with some incredibly talented photographers..encouraging and sharing my experience and knowledge. The one-on-one sessions are by far some of my favorite experiences.
This is a milestone year for me, as I have now officially entered my 10th year in business. HUGE goal of mine, and I am looking forward to sharing my new branding and website soon. This will be a big year of changes in my business, as I will also be taking on more portrait sessions again. This will include a limited number of Fine Art Film “First Baby” family sessions.
I wanted to share one frame from each, (most..some I am not able to share public), of my wonderful clients this past year. This post is dedicated to THEM. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me to document your life and your love. I loved EVERY minute of it! It’s because of you that I am able to live out my dream. CHEERS TO YOU!

Jessica and Matt’s anniversary session at Cannon Beach was incredibly meaningful and special for all of us. This couple entered and won a giveaway I hosted in 2015, and we finally had a weekend where we could make it happen. They traveled from Washington in their RV, and we met at the beach for some time together. Matt has an amazing testimony and almost lost his life…as some of you know, I lost my husband to an accident several years ago…we had some pretty amazing talks the three of us. It made this session that much more meaningful to them, and especially to me. THIS is why I love my job. True connections with amazing humans…and seeing Gods grace in our lives.

The mood of their day was so in tune with my soul, that I would photograph this wedding again 10x over. 🙂 Angela and Dean’s personalities and style was reflected in every detail of their day. It was nature inspired, timeless, and simply elegant. Their focus was on each other, and their guests/family. They made sure I had all the time I needed with them and I was able to capture some incredible light filled images for them. I have so much more to add, but will save it for the full post and feature soon!
